Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

Lead data scientists and complex projects to completion.
Design, plan, prioritize and be responsible for data projects.
Develop, evaluate, and deploy new models and techniques.
Coach and mentor junior data scientists to develop their skills.
Understand clients’ processes and communicate technical solutions and model results to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

3 years experience as a Data Scientist delivering end-to-end data projects
Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management Statistics or equivalent industry experience.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
Experience in using statistical computer languages (Python, PySpark, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
A strong passion to identify and solve business problems using data science techniques
Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with cross-functional teams such as Data Analyst, Data Visualization, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and businesses functions
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
A good team player
